Quality assurance and QC

Quality systems for coating work that stand up to client audits, without burying your team in paperwork.

Overview

Why it matters

Good coating quality is a system, not a final check. We build inspection and test plans, set practical acceptance criteria and put the right checks at the right stages, so faults are caught upstream instead of at final inspection.

We have run quality for a multi-process finisher, covering powder coating, wet paint, blast cleaning, zinc metal spraying and chemical pretreatment, so we know this work from the inside.

When to call us

  • A new contract demands an ITP and quality documentation you do not have yet.
  • Rework and customer rejections keep coming back to the same few causes.
  • You are preparing for a client, scheme or ISO 9001 audit.
  • You are building a QC function and want it right from day one.

Questions

Quality assurance and QC: common questions

Can you act as our QC function on a single project?
Yes. We can write the ITP, carry out the inspections and compile the documentation pack for one project, or help your own team run it.
Do you work with powder coaters?
Very much so. Powder coating, pretreatment and curing control are a core part of our background, alongside wet paint systems.
Will this mean a lot more paperwork?
Usually less. The aim is the minimum set of checks and records that genuinely prevents defects and satisfies your clients, not a pile of forms nobody reads.
