Our aim

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. The site is designed and tested to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Semantic page structure with landmarks, headings in order and a skip link to the main content
• Full keyboard access, with a clearly visible focus indicator
• Text and interface colours checked for sufficient contrast
• Descriptive labels, instructions and error messages on every form field
• Animations that respect your device's reduced motion setting, and a pause control for scrolling content
• Content that works without JavaScript, apart from the interactive calculators
• Layouts that adapt to screen size and text zoom without losing content

Known limitations

The dew point calculator and corrosivity picker need JavaScript. The information they provide is also explained in text on the same pages.
