Who we are

This website is run by East Anglia Coating Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17050694. Our registered office is 61 Bruff Road, Ipswich, England, IP2 8GS. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

When you send our enquiry form, we collect the information you choose to give us:

  • your name, company, email address and phone number
  • the project location, the services and timescale you select and your message
  • any files you attach, such as specifications, drawings or photos

If you call or email us, we keep a record of the conversation where we need it to deal with your enquiry. Our web server also keeps standard technical logs, such as the pages requested and the time, to keep the site secure.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes and, if you become a client, deliver our services.

Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Spam protection

To stop automated abuse of the enquiry form, we check how quickly the form was completed and limit repeated submissions. For the limit we store a short-lived, one-way code derived from your IP address, never the address itself.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Who we share it with

Our website and email are hosted by our hosting provider, which processes data on our behalf under contract. We share information with other parties only where needed to deliver work you have asked for, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Files attached to the enquiry form are deleted from the website server after 30 days, once they have been delivered to us.
  • Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to two years, then deleted.
  • Client records are kept for as long as needed for the work and for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct, delete or stop using it. To make a request, call us on 07810 022184 or use the contact form. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
